Sunday, October 23rd, 2011

I am always fascinated by the lucid dreaming, and decided to get through by controlling the dreams. After a deep research and lot of practice, I found myself in a better stage of dream control, so sharing my experience and tips with you to spread more awareness about the dream control.

In the beginning I was very excited to remember my dreams and gain control over them. You can try many techniques even you have doubts about them and their reliability. However, these techniques will give you more experience even they fail to accomplish your task and will help you to improve your control over your dreams with slight changes.
Some people love to gain control over dreams to have relief of the nightmare or bad dreams. They just don’t want to dream at all or get rid of them immediately when find themselves in dreams. These types of people can help themselves in this situation with a slight control over their dreams to make their dreams more pleasant.

There are also some sorts of people, who like to gain control over their dreams for having fun in the dreams. They love to be diving in dreams to go crazy and get awesome experience. They love to dream of flying and getting romance classes as per their desires. Yes it is possible with the help of dream control. You can get it by more practice of dream control.
Visualization is a best technique to boost your dream control. You can practice this technique in different times of everyday, sit on a proper place where nobody can disturb you and imagine of your desired place or a situation of your wish. Now picture that place with your eyes closed and expand your vision to any extend, find yourself in that scenario and enjoy the weather, the natural beauty in surrounding. Try to realize your companions, your clothes, and your feelings about the vision. Try to enrich the picture with perfect colors. Keep yourself intact within the vision for most of the time, and repeat the process whenever you got a chance. It’s a great technique to boost your visualization not only in dream control but in achieving the real life goals as well. You can do that practically in life, what you dreams while you awake, that leads you to the peak of your life with full of enjoyments.

Another technique is verbalization, while sitting in the limited distractions; you should practice of asking yourself loudly whatever you want. This is a scientific technique, just like a normal student try to remember his lessons and repeat it loudly. It helps your brain to store that for the future use, than transmit you these words at different times, while dreaming or walking in the garden. Keep talking more and more on the topic of your goal. It helps you to act in a direction to reach that goal of your desire not only in your dreams, but also in your real life.
Whenever you want anything to dream about, you should say it so, affirm it, speak it loud. This exercise will provide every kind of directions and clues to your inner self.

Perform this practice daily before getting to bed to get a proper control over your dreams.

Discover Lucid Dreaming and Watch 'Waking Life'

Are you an avid lucid dreamer? Do you wish to discover the exciting realms of lucid dreaming? What separates dreams from reality? Where does our consciousness end? If you're not a deep thinker and don't have an eagerness to ask the deeper, thought provoking questions in life this movie is not for you.

The most poignant question?

"Are we sleep-walking through our waking state or wake- walking through our dreams?"

The Plot

Waking Life is about a young man in a persistent lucid dream-like state. The film follows its protagonist as he initially observes and later participates in philosophical discussions that weave together issues like appearance and reality, free will, our relationships with others, and the meaning of life. Rave Reviews

`Waking Life' uses creative animation techniques and a nearly plot-less conversational format to explore some of the deep philosophical questions of consciousness, dream, and reality. While this may sound heavy and boring, director Richard Linklater (`Slacker') brings a surprisingly light touch to the project, and the result is a fascinating, thought provoking, and highly enjoyable film.

I watched this movie twice in one week. I was alone the first time that I viewed it, and found myself hard-pressed to express either the density of the ideas presented, or just how entertaining that presentation was.

So I rented it again, and sat down to watch it with my best friend. We put the remote between us, and then, every few minutes, one or the other of us would grab it, hit pause, and launch into a discussion of what we had just seen. It took us all evening to watch this hour and forty minute film this way, but the result of this exercise was both entertaining and mentally stimulating.

Richard Linklater has a knack for making this type of fare. `Waking Life' is similar in many ways to his debut film, `Slacker', which shares its loose, conversational format and philosophical bent. `Waking Life' is a much stronger, more focused and thoughtful film, however, and it is easy to see Linklater's maturation as a film maker and thinker.

If you simply want mindless entertainment, avoid this movie, it is definitely not for you. If, however, you enjoy films that are clever, innovative, and thought-provoking then `Waking Life' very well might become one of your favorites.

Lucid Dreaming Defined - Video Summary

This great 4 minute news footage is a perfect summary to what Lucid Dreaming is all about. Lucid dreaming is something that everybody can experience and it's possible to see results in a matter of days. I, in fact, was able to lucid dream after 4 or 5 hours. In my opinion it's not really necessary to by the equipment to lucid dream and also the video makes it sound harder than it is. Nevertheless a cool video to introduce the concept to the amateur dream maker.

The beauty of lucid dreaming:

"I decide my dreams. Decide what I do in the dreams. I can even prevent myself from waking up from those dreams, because I know exactly when it happens."
